HC Deb 29 October 1946 vol 428 cc82-3W
106. Mr. Price-White

asked the Secretary of State for Air what is the intention as to the disposal of stores and fittings, furnishings, cinema chairs and equipment at Penrhos R.A.F. Station, Pwllheli, which is now to be closed; and if he will, if possible, make these available, if not required elsewhere by R.A.F. personnel, to residents of the Pwllheli district where such articles are in short supply.

Mr. de Freitas

The married quarters at Penrhos, with appropriate furniture and fittings, are being allocated for families who are separated from members of the Royal Air Force serving overseas. The other buildings and any surplus furniture or equipment are being disposed of by the Ministry of Works and the Board of Trade.
