Mrs. Manningasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he and other Ministers associated with him in setting up the Curtis Committee have yet had an opportunity of studying the Report of that committee; and if it is intended to make a statement to the House on the implementation or otherwise of the committee's recommendations.
§ 100. Mr. Byersasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will state the intentions of the Government with regard to the Curtis Committee Report; and what immediate steps are proposed to implement those recommendations which require urgent action.
§ Mr. OliverThe House will, I am sure, agree that thanks are due to the chairman and members of this committee for their comprehensive survey of this large subject and for their valuable report. The report is receiving active consideration, and there will be no avoidable delay in making a statement.
