Mr. Stokes

asked the Secretary of State for War when the hon. Member for Ipswich may expect a reply to his letter of 2nd August concerning the continued imprisonment of prisoner of war A.861326 Fritz Bilda; and if, prior to being forced into the German Army, he spent six years in a concentration camp.

Mr. Bellenger

Fritz Bilda has now been given the grading "A plus" and will probably be repatriated to the British zone of Germany early next month. I have no records which confirm that he spent six years in a concentration camp.
