§ Mr. Thurtleasked the Secretary of State for War if he will be in a position to state, in the near future, the date on which general demobilisation will commence, bearing in mind that many of those who agreed in 1945 to defer their release from the Army until this date are anxious to know how much longer they are likely to have to serve.
