§ Mr. P. Noel-BakerEighty-eight huts at Hixon airfield have been released by the Royal Air Force. Some of them had been condemned as unfit for occupation, and for that reason had been empty for about 12 months; others had been unoccupied for shorter periods of time. The huts were looked after by the station commander, with such airmen as he had available.
