§ Mr. WestwoodOat production in Scotland in the years named was as follows: 1939; — 614,000 tons; 1940 — 761,000 tons; 1941 — 889,000 tons; 1942 — 967,000 tons; 1943 — 845,000 tons; 1944 — 757,000 tons; and 1945 — 834,000 tons. Agricultural executive committees have been asked to obtain approximately the same cereal acreage in 1947 as in 1945, with the fullest possible production of oats.
