§ Mr. IsaacsOn the basis of reports received in my Department, it is estimated that approximately 1,970,000 working-days were lost through stoppages of work arising out of industrial disputes during the period 1st January to 31st October, 1946. Most of the stoppages have been unofficial, but the information available does not permit a distinction to be made between these and official stoppages.
