§ 162. Mr. Piratin
asked the Secretary of State for War why 800 Jewish soldiers of General Anders' army recently landed in this country have been detained under an armed guard.
§ Mr. Bellenger
Ninety-seven Polish Jews have recently arrived in this country from Italy who were members of the 2nd Polish Corps, and have expressed a wish to emigrate to Palestine. For administrative convenience, these Poles are accommodated together in one camp. They have the same privileges as other members of the 2nd Polish Corps, and have not been detained under an armed guard.
