HC Deb 21 November 1946 vol 430 c150W
Captain Macleod

asked the Minister of Health whether he will consider issuing two free travel warrants per annum to nurses for use for home leave during their training.

Mr. Isaacs

I have been asked to reply. Nurses placed in training away from home through the machinery of my Department are already eligible under the same conditions as other transferred workers for two return railway warrants to their homes, each year at a charge of 7s. 6d. on each occasion. I am sending the hon. Member a copy of the leaflet which sets out the arrangements in detail.
