§ 106. Mr. Sorensenasked the Minister of Health in view of the disappointment caused to applicants for accommodation in 161W the area of their present residence owing to the impossibility of their local authority being able to meet the needs of more than a small percentage of those applications, what provision he contemplates by which these applications can be considered by other local authorities, especially in respect of A priority cases.
§ Mr. BevanLocal authorities can already consider applications from people resident in other areas but they must of course consider the urgent needs of their own residents too, and in general I think that they carry out this difficult task very fairly.
