Mr. Grenfellasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether ex-Servicemen who had not completed their qualifying examination for entry into the Customs and Excise service will be given an equivalent reduction of qualifying marks for the 1939 and Part II personal interview examination, so as to enable them to qualify on the same basis of marks at those two examinations as those ex-Servicemen who are to sit for the reconstruction examinations for 1947.
