The figures, which do not include re-admissions to British nationality of British-born women, are as follow: Year 1933, 165; 1934, 138; 1935, 160; 1936, 144; 1937, 137; 1938, 293; 1939, 390; 1940, 208; 1941, 18; 1942, 20; 1943, 15; 1944, 9; 1945, 14; total, 17,711.
