Mr. Braddock

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what is the position of the wives of people resident in Malaya in regard to vaccination and inoculation when they are sailing to join their husbands.

Wives proceeding to Malaya to join their husbands are advised to be in possession of a certificate of vaccination against smallpox and of typhoid T.A.B., inoculation certificate before sailing from the United Kingdom in order to avoid inconvenienceen route and to safeguard themselves against the risk of infection in Malaya.
