Friend has had a discussion with representatives of the Churches Main Committee and has told them that the planning of new towns will be a matter for the corporations which the New Towns Bill, at present before Parliament, proposes to set up, and that they may rest assured that the corporations will consult ecclesiastical and religious bodies before submitting proposals to him.
