HC Deb 16 May 1946 vol 422 c276W
75. Mr. R. S. Hudson

asked the Minister of Agriculture what progress has been made in negotiations regarding the Rivers Bill; and when he expects to be able to introduce it to this House.

Mr. Collick:

Discussions have taken place with the associations representing the interests most closely affected but my right hon. Friend regrets that he is not yet in a position to make any statement as to the introduction of the necessary legislation.
