§ 83. Mr. Hurdasked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware of the delay of six weeks and longer in supplying replacements of rubber tyres for farm tractors, resulting in many tractors being idle; and what steps he is taking to remedy the position.
§ Mr. Belcher:While the conversion of steel wheeled tractors which the owners wish to turn over to pneumatic equipment can only proceed gradually, I am not aware of any such delay as is suggested in replacing worn out rubber tyres on tractors already using them. If the hon. Member will furnish particulars of any cases he has in mind, I will have them investigated.
