HC Deb 13 May 1946 vol 422 c140W
73. Mr. Swingler

asked the Minister of Supply how many wrist-watches are at present stored in Government depots; and what instructions he is issuing for their disposal.

Mr. Wilmot:

We have invited all traders who sold watches before the war to tender for the 40,000 wrist watches we have for disposal. Today is the final date for receiving tenders.
