§ 25. Sir G. Foxasked the Secretary of State for War what steps he is taking to improve conditions at Military Hospital, Head Injuries, Wheatley, Oxford.
§ Mr. Lawson:This hospital is in buildings of wartime construction. Considerable works have been carried out to improve the original buildings, but the extent to which this could be done was limited by the necessity to move the hospital to Wheatley as quickly as possible from its temporary site at Headington, as this site was urgently required to meet civil needs. There are still certain defects in the general administrative arrangements of the hospital, which are being investigated with a view to effecting an improvement. I am advised that the standard of medical treatment is high.
