§ 79. Mr. Hutchinsonasked the Minister of Health whether it is intended to provide artificial limbs in all necessary cases as an essential feature of treatment under the new National Health schemes; and whether he will consider the provision at State cost of initial and duplicate artificial limbs, with repairs and renewals as necessary, to assist limbless persons to become assets to the State rather than a liability.
§ Mr. BevanI would ask my hon. Friend to await the Government's proposals for a National Health Service, which will be submitted to the House shortly and which I do not think I ought to anticipate at this stage.
