§ Mr. IsaacsUrgent steps are being taken to establish the National Institute of House Workers recommended by the Markham-Hancock Report on the lines of my statement of 7th February, 1946 [Official Report, 7th February, 1946, c. 1893–4]. It will be one of the first tasks of the Institute to consider, in consultation with my Department, in what form and in what places experimental centres are to be set up.
