HC Deb 04 March 1946 vol 420 c26W
118. Major Bruce

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he is prepared to consider changing the conditions governing the award of the Greenwich Hospital Special Pension, as at present laid down by Order in Council, in order to ensure that the fact that an ex-rating is being at present maintained out of public funds shall cease to be a disqualification for his being considered for the award of a Greenwich Hospital Special Pension.

Mr. W. Edwards

The regulations governing the award of Greenwich Hospital Special Pensions are now under review. The present disqualification of men maintained in Public Assistance Institutions will be reconsidered.
