§ Mr. Wilfred PalingOn the general question I would refer the hon. Member to the answer given by the Attorney-General to the hon. Member for Romford (Mr. T. Macpherson) on 22nd May. In the Birt case, the circumstances of which were unusual, the learned judge held that the tribunal which heard the case erred in law in admitting certain material as evidence, and he accordingly remitted the appeal for further hearing by another tribunal.
