Graham-Littleasked the Minister of Education if, in making concessions regarding pensions and allowing special privileges to Service men and women who entered th eteaching profession subsequent to disablement in the 1939–45 war, she will not deny these to those who entered the teaching profession after disablement in the 1914–18 war.
§ Miss WilkinsonThe superannuation provisions governing the treatment of war service during the 1914–18 war were made many years ago after full consultation with the representatives of teachers and their employers. It is not intended, and I do not think it would be practicable at this date, to amend the provisions.
