§ Mr. GaitskellThe general rule of one registration per house, except with the permission of the local fuel overseer, is essential if the available supplies of coal for domestic purposes are to be fairly distributed. It is not possible to forecast precisely when supplies will have increased sufficiently to justify the relaxation of this restriction.
