asked the Secretary of State for War what is the future of the Pioneer Corps; is the Corps to continue; and, ii so, what are the conditions of service to be.

The future of the Pioneer Corps is at present being considered in relation to other problems of the postwarArmy. It is not, however, possible at this stage to say whether the Pioneer Corps will or will not continue.
