§ Mr. Asterley Jonesasked the Attorney-General whether he will arrange for the publication of the evidence given before the Committee on Legal Aid.
§ The Attorney-GeneralNo, Sir. A comprehensive Report of the Committee on Legal Aid and Legal Advice, containing extensive comments on the evidence submitted to the Committee, has already been published. In view of this I do not128W think that the expenditure of time and material required to print and publish the great volume of evidence, both oral and documentary, which was submitted to the Committee could be justified.
