§ Sir S. CrippsMr. W. H. Gallienne is responsible for the work of the Chicago Consular district under the general guidance and direction of the Minister Commercial at His Majesty's Embassy in Washington. Mr. Gallienne is a member of His Majesty's Foreign Service and holds the rank of His Majesty's Consul-General. The senior staff comprises one officer of the rank of His Majesty's Consul, who is specially charged with the commercial work of the post, and also two Vice Consuls. There is a supporting staff of junior officers.
