§ Mr. BarnesThe "Ekma" was fitted as a troopship in India and remained in Eastern waters throughout her service. She was subject to the usual rules regarding the inspection of sea transport ships and gave five years of service without complaint until very recently. She has now been released from requisition and is no longer in service as a troopship. I have no record in this country of structural alterations.
