Mr. Dyeasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is aware of the increasing number of foxes in the Stanford Battle Training Area, making it impossible for fanners in the neighbourhood to keep all classes of poultry at a profit; and if he will take steps to reduce the number of foxes in this district.
§ Mr. CollickI understand there is a heavy infestation of foxes in the Stanford Battle Training Area. The Norfolk war agricultural executive committee has organised some fox drives, and earths, where they can be found, have been gassed. I am instructing the committee to increase their efforts to deal with this problem.
