§ Mr. LindgrenThe decision to cease work on the F.I.D.O. installation at Heathrow was made on 1st November, 1945. The plans then provided for its operation on No. 1 runway only. As to the last part of the Question about £250,000 had been spent up to the time 393W of abandonment, but after satisfying outstanding contractors claims, a total expenditure of about £400,000 was involved
