§ Mr. BarnesI have no precise figures of such properties, but on the information available about 28,000 houses and cottages, owned by the railway and canal companies specified in the Third Schedule of the Transport Bill, for occupation by their employees, will be transferred to the British Transport Commission under Part II of the Bill. This estimate does not include properties forming part of any railway or stations.
