§ 107. Mr. Jannerasked the Minister of Health what research has been undertaken by his Department with regard to the application of modern engineering 325W methods to the problem of coast erosion in this country; and whether he intends to develop such work in the near future.
§ Mr. KeyIt has not been the function of my Department to carry out research of this nature, but the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research is in process of establishing a Hydraulics Research Organisation which will cover the problems of coast protection, to which high priority is being assigned.
