§ 6. Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is aware of the recent disorders at dog racing tracks in and around London; and if he will direct a public inquiry into the conduct, management and control of dog racing tracks and of betting thereat.
§ Mr. EdeIt is the duty of the occupier of a dog racing track to make proper arrangements for maintaining order at that track, and the licensing authority of such a track may revoke its licence if they are satisfied that the track has been conducted in a disorderly manner or so as to cause a nuisance. I do not think that there is any need for a public inquiry.
