asked the Secretary of State for War, how many Austrian prisoners of war have been repatriated; how many still remain in this country; and at what rate they are being sent back to Austria.

Mr. Lawson:

Fifty-six Austrian prisoners of war have so far been repatriated from the United Kingdom, 11,500 remain in the United Kingdom, and arrangements have been made for the repatriation during April of approximately 1.200. The rate at which it will he possible to transfer the remainder who are eligible for repatriation has not yet been determined.
