Lady Noel-Buxtonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what will be the composition of the standing committee of five that is to he appointed to assist the Development Commissioner in Tanganyika; and whether the opportunity will be taken to associate local opinion with the operation of plans under the Colonial Development and Welfare Act, by the inclusion of non-officials and Africans on this committee.
