§ Miss Wilkinson:There are no fixed rates of pensions for teachers, which are calculated on the basis of the number of years of pensionable service and the average salary for the last five years of that service, the grant being an annual allowance of one-eightieth and a lump sum of one-thirtieth of the average salary for each year of pensionable service. The minimum qualifying period is ten years pensionable service.
