Reidasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies when the decision to extend the life of the Ceylon Legislature till March 1947, by which date it would be about 12 years old, was made; and if he intends to secure this legislature's views on the proposals of the Soulbury Commission for the system of governance of post-war Ceylon.
