Major Lloydasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the likely continued shortage of goods, he is satisfied that no injustice will be done by 2134W basing compensation for the loss of chattels under the War Damage Act on values at the time of the loss and not on values at the time when it will be possible to replace articles.
