§ Mr. Lipsonasked the Minister of Education how many teachers it is proposed to train at a time at the Oakley Farm buildings at Cheltenham; how many it is estimated could be trained if Cowley Manor were used for this purpose instead; and on what date the latter place was inspected by a representative of her Ministry and declared unsuitable.
§ Miss WilkinsonThe office buildings at Oakley Farm will accommodate two colleges each of 200 students, all resident. Cowley Manor is too small to be used for even the smallest training college and could certainly not accommodate as many as 50 students. It was visited by one of His Majesty's Inspectors on the 18th July, 1945.
