§ Mr. Sparksasked the Minister of Health if the losses in rate revenue suffered by local authorities from the operation of the de-rating legislation of 1929 will be a factor to be taken into account when allocating to local authorities the additional £10,000,000 per annum to be added to the block grant in the current and two following years.
§ Mr. BevanNo, Sir. The method of distribution of the supplementary grant is under consideration, but it is not contemplated that it will take into account the effect of the de-rating provisions of the Local Government Act, 1929.
