§ Mr. J. Beattieasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he is aware that officers who wish to take advantage of the Government of Ireland Act, 1920, are adversely affected because the Civil Service Committee for Northern Ireland, which was set up under Section 56 of that Act, lacks a chairman; and whether he will take steps to have a chairman appointed forthwith.
§ Mr. Glenvil HallI have been asked to reply. The question of filling this vacancy is at present under consideration in the Treasury. I understand that meanwhile the Committee's business is not adversely affected.
