HC Deb 09 October 1945 vol 414 c99W
Mr. Collins

asked the Prime Minister if the decision not to award the 1939–43 medal to men of the R.N.A.S. who were on foreign service during that period, will be reconsidered.

The Prime Minister

I am not sure whether my hon. Friend refers to the Fleet Air Arm. The position is that naval air crew and other officers and ratings of the Fleet Air Arm are eligible for the 1939–45 Star under the Regulations which have been promulgated. If my hon. Friend would care to let me have further particulars of the problem he has in mind, I will have this examined.
