§ Sir W. Smithersasked the Minister of Health what is the cost to the ratepayers and the taxpayers of the sewer now being dug between Pratts Bottom and Knock-holt, in the area of the Orpington Urban District Council.
§ Mr. BevanThe cost of the sewer in question was estimated at £22,345, but by reason of difficulties caused by shortage of labour this figure may be exceeded. A contribution of £4,043 will be made by the Ministry of Works towards the cost of the sewer.
