§ Mr. LawsonThese allowances are being reviewed in connection with the preparations of the post-war pay and allowances code. In the meantime I do not think it can be assumed that the allowances are inadequate at present. This may be the case in particular instances and in particular places, but generally I have no evidence that supports inadequacy.
