HC Deb 12 November 1945 vol 415 c1880W
Mr. Studholme

asked the Minister of Works how many civil servants worked in the offices outside London built for Government departments and for Government factories during the war; and how many civil servants are now using these premises.

Mr. Tomlinson

I regret that the information asked for is not available. To obtain it would necessitate much detailed inquiry by Departments concerned and would involve an undue expenditure of time and labour which could not be spared in view of the pressure of public business.
