asked the Minister of Works how many men have been imported from Scotland within the last two years in order to assist in repairing bomb-damaged houses in England.

Since June, 1944, the date from which the special arrangements operated, about 2,000 men have been imported from Scotland to assist in the repair of bomb-damaged houses in England.
