§ Mr. Henderson Stewartasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if in order that Parliament and the public may be made aware accurately of the Government's powers during the next five years, he will issue a White Paper indicating the various orders and regulations covered by the Supplies and Services Bill.
§ Mr. EdeThe Defence Regulations which it is necessary to continue in force for the purpose set out in the Supplies and Services (Transitional Powers) Bill will be contained in Orders in Council which it is proposed to make and lay before Parliament with the least possible delay after that Bill has become law.
