Friend's Question the disposal of equipment which is no longer required is primarily for my right hon. Friends the Minister of Supply and the Minister of Works. Local authorities have recently been offered special opportunities to acquire certain surplus National Fire Service equipment, and I hope soon to reach agreement with my colleagues concerned as to offers to industrial firms who now have equipment on loan.
