§ Mr. Goldieasked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware of the difficulty experienced by the public in adequately securing air mail letters addressed to troops serving overseas; and whether, with a view to the safe transport of such letters, he will cause the quality of the adhesive gum to be improved or alter the present unsatisfactory method of closure by slip attachment.
§ Captain CrookshankOver 400,000,000 air letter forms have been issued. Only nine complaints of difficulty in sealing them have been traced, and my hon. and learned Friend will agree that these are so few as to be infinitesimal, but I am having special attention drawn to the necessity for adequate and satisfactory gumming.
