§ Mr. G. Hutchinson
asked the Minister of Pensions whether he is aware of the prolonged delay which elapses between the time that forms of appeal to the Pensions Appeal Tribunals are lodged with the Ministry and the case history is received with consequent delay in the hearing of the appeal; and whether he will take steps to expedite the hearing of these appeals.405W
§ Sir W. Womersley
I would refer my hon. Friend to my reply of 1st December to his previous Question on this subject. The steps I have already taken have resulted in an increased output of these statements of case history, and arrears are being steadily overtaken. I shall not fail to take advantage of any opportunity of increasing the staff on this work.
